    East West Bank is currently seeking a Accountant. The Accountant will apply principles of accounting to record and analyze financial information and prepare financial reports for management. The ideal candidate must be able to multi-task within a fast-paced, rapidly evolving business environment and possess the flexibility to thrive in a growing company.


    • Daily and monthly general ledger account reconciliations
    • Daily and monthly bank reconciliations
    • Preparation of banking regulatory reports
    • Month-end closing procedures
    • Preparation of various financial analyses, as required
    • Preparation of various schedules and reports for internal users and external auditors
    • Preparation of audited financial statements and related footnotes


    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
    • At least 2 years of general ledger accounting and/or financial reporting experience
    • Public accounting experience is a plus
    • Good working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Demonstrated strong analytical, technical, organizational, and problem solving skills
    • Demonstrated strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to work well independently as well as in a team
    • Professional attitude and demeanor and the ability to exercise good judgment
    • Proficiency with Excel & Word
    • Flexibility to work additional hours as needed
    • PeopleSoft knowledge is a plus
