    We are currently seeking a Credit Portfolio Analytics. The Credit Portfolio Analytics will function within the Credit Governance & Analytics department. This role will be responsible for data analytics of the Bank's credit portfolios and provide monthly and quarterly credit risk reporting over the health and composition of the Bank's lending portfolios to Executive Management and the Board. This role will also entail working with other departments and stakeholders to continually enhance data quality, research more meaningful ways to analyze and present information, and highlight the risks in the credit portfolios (e.g., portfolio analysis, KRI reporting, ad hoc reporting). This role may also act as a consultative resource to the first and second lines of defense and put together risk presentations or informational reports for business unit leaders, executive management and the Board of Directors.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute on credit portfolio risk monitoring activities, including analytics and process enhancements
    • Analyze and measure credit and financial performance in the portfolio by various views (e.g., business lines, product, industry, geographic, etc.) to identify trends and drivers; draw/summarize conclusions and implications from the prepared analysis
    • Create, enhance, and maintain reporting on key risk metrics, concentrations, and stratifications of the loan portfolio
    • Perform research, independently or collaboratively, to continually enhance relevant credit monitoring reports with analytics given current data structure and anticipated future enhancements
    • Streamline and customize meaningful reports catered to the appropriate audience and purpose (e.g., business lines, senior executives, Board of Directors, regulators, auditors, etc.)
    • Document/research the various business needs on specific data elements and contribute to the enhancement of data quality initiative
    • Coordinate with stakeholders in understanding the various sources of data and processes to garner better and more relevant data for analysis
    • Collect, prepare, and provide clear and accurate information as requested by auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders
    • Monitor the regulatory landscape to help the Bank anticipate regulatory risk
    • Prepare ad-hoc risk management reports as assigned
    • Keeping up-to-date with industry best practices and new regulations

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in banking, credit, and/or data analysis, and have general knowledge of loan products
    • Bachelor's Degree required/MBA or Masters preferred
    • Analytical and critical thinker with proven problem solving skills
    • Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel and PowerPoint; Experience with Tableau preferred
    • Must have excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills, including experience working with all levels of management across various departments
    • Exceptionally high concern for quality and attention to detail with strong sense of ownership
    • Strong project, process, and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, as well as to be flexible and easily shift amount various tasks and projects
    • Self-motivated and able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively
    • Strives for high ethical standards and has mindset for risk management
