    We are currently seeking an IT Asset Specialist. The IT Asset Specialist will report to the procurement and Asset Manager. This person will be tasked with managing the asset procedures within the IT Operations department.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage and maintaining East West Bank's hardware and software assets
    • Creating programs to process in and recycle out-of-date equipment
    • Scheduling and managing biennial companywide inventory
    • Manages the maintenance of records and databases containing information regarding licenses, warranties, and service agreements for the organization's hardware and software
    • Maintain and keep current and accurate information in EWBC's Asset. Management System
    • Branch and Bank Mergers, Branch Closures, Department Moves
    • Confirms equipment inventory before merger, closure or move
    • Oversees that equipment is allocated correctly and/or returned to stock
    • Ensures equipment is in good condition and ready for deployment
    • Inventory duties include: Manages bi-annual inventory of all equipment by cost center and creates schedule and documentation
    • Recycle Planning duties include: Manages equipment pickup, manages equipment sales and recycling, maintain vendor list for recycles/sales at national locations
    • Equipment Ordering:
    • Assist with order processing
    • Receive ordered equipment and asset tag as needed
    • Enter equipment information into Asset Management System
    • Assigns and follows IR and orders for equipment from start to finish.
    • Assign technicians for deployment of equipment
    • Manages emergency order to delivery
    • Manages inventory of storage room
    • Maintain and monitor Asset Management System

    Qualifications

    • IT background a must
    • Candidate must possess three (3) years of experience in managing assets
    • Auditing skills helpful
    • Experience with Ivanti Asset Essentials is a plus
    • Must be self-motivated and a self-starter that can work in a team environment with periods of independent control.
    • Knowledge of IT asset lifecycle management
    • Preferred A Bachelor's Degree in a related field
    • Must be able to lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs.
