    The Role

    East West Bank is currently seeking a Business Support Lead for the Centralized Operations Department (CO). This position will report to the Director, Centralized Operations and will be responsible for assisting the in managing diverse business functions such as: Monthly Production Reports, Department Scorecard, Incentive Program, Associate Scorecards, Overtime Reporting, Turnover Rates, Survey development, deployment, and analysis, expense reports, and all other Operational Reporting Metrics. Creation and maintenance of monthly Presentation Decks that highlight monthly accomplishments and results. Provide assistance with Communications both verbal and written. This position will require working with various business unit leaders within the CO Department, Banking Operations as well as across the bank.

    Key Responsibilities (not limited to)

    • Design and maintain KPI for CO as well as for individual business units under CO
    • Manage internal and external action plans addressing KPI or core metrics
    • Extensive involvement in planning, initiations, and implementation phase of all major initiatives
    • Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously and provide mentoring and coaching to associates
    • Regularly provide project status updates to Leadership, project sponsors, and stakeholders
    • Develop bank wide communications for CO
    • May consult with senior management to define and manage projects that encompass and impact many business units
    • Develop strong working relationship with cross functional management and team members
    • Responsible for maintaining business continuity plans for CO
    • Provide support in CO monthly financial reviews, analysis, and budgeting
    • Assist with special projects from time to time


    • 3+ years of experience with strong knowledge of financial industry, including: products, processes, platforms, and systems
    • Working knowledge of general bank policies, programs, procedures, financial/accounting practices, Associate training, service quality, and business continuity
    • Relationship management skills necessary to build relationships across business, technology, and operations spanning multiple lines of business
    • Proficient with MS Project, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, and VISIO
    • Experience with Business process analysis and documentation
    • Very strong oral communication as well as written and presentation skills
    • Skilled at consensus building and conflict resolution management
    • Comfortable with rapid pace and ambiguity
    • Strong ability to influence results without authority
    • Bachelor’s Degree required
    • Must be able to demonstrate general project management knowledge
