    East West Bank is currently seeking an Assistant Relationship Manager in Hong Kong.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Support relationship managers for new business origination and development, including preparing marketing materials, financial spreading, credit proposal writing, credit memos, call reports, etc.
    • Support relationship managers in opening new corporate / individual accounts including performing related KYC and AML checking as well as negative news searching.
    • Work with Client Onboarding team and other departments in the establishment of new accounts
    • Work with Credit Department in Headquarter in the approval of new / existing credits.
    • Fulfil existing portfolio’s internal monitoring requirements, including annual credit renewal, KYC review, financial reports and covenants tracking, etc.
    • Perform periodic visits to both existing or new clients of the Bank, both in H.K. or in China
    • Perform daily administrative functions of Commercial Banking, including but not limited to deposit rate quotation, deposit / loans rollover of clients, execute FX or T/T transactions with clients, as well as preparation of different banking reports to senior management as well as Head Office

     

    Qualifications

    • Preferably Bachelor degree or higher;
    • 1-3 years of commercial banking experience;
    • Team player, self-starter and detail-oriented;
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills;
    • Have hands on experience in dealing with corporate clients and general banking knowledge;
    • Willing to take ownership and challenges;
    • Willing to travel to China;
    • Fluent in both English and Mandarin (writing and speaking)
