    We are currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator located in Houston, Texas.The role provides overall marketing support for East West Bank's Texas region, covering Houston, Dallas, and Austin, across all business lines including consumer, business, and commercial banking. Main focuses include driving brand awareness for the bank across local markets to position the bank as a key player within its niche industries and to support business development for team managers. The position requires communicating project expectations and deliverables with all stakeholders including vendors and monitoring the progress and budget of each project.

    Responsibilities

    • Event Management — Manage all invitation details and submit requests to Marketing, as well as, coordinate catering service for VIP customer events, COI networking receptions, knowledge seminars, SBA workshops, tradeshows, and special events for LNY/Mid-autumn Festival.
    • CRA Service Hours — Maintain and submit all CRA Service Hours for Texas which entails researching and evaluating opportunities for CRA activities that can help fulfill Branch CRA service hour quotas, as well as, working closely with Branch managers and external organizations to execute CRA activities.
    • Donations and Sponsorships — Serve as first point of contact for incoming requests from Texas commercial and retail teams, conduct research, and submit all approved requests via BridgeNet.
    • Web Shop Orders — manage premium gifts/giveaway items/moon cake/annual calendar orders for the Texas Region.
    • Reports and Tracking — tracking of events and expenses, with information of ethnicities served, participation of employees, and purpose of events.

    Qualifications

     

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, including development of communications plans and writing sales and marketing communications
    • Strong MS Office skills to create effective Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents
    • Ability to work independently and as an integral member of cross-organizational teams
    • Proactive and strong work ethic
