    East West Bank is currently seeking a Construction Loan Disbursement Manager.

      

     

    Responsibilities

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversees EWB’s Construction Disbursement department and manages its daily operations
    • Develops and implements department’s business plans and manages the department’s cost and expenses vs. budgets
    • Monitor  the department’s overall productivity and efficiency of department; make adjustments to processes and procedures to meet business plan;
    • Evaluate associates’ performance by implementing employee score cards, and providing coaching and training and timely feedbacks to employees
    • Assess the adequacy of the operations system/software and make recommendations for upgrades or replacements
    • Implement process improvements to ensure service quality, service level agreements and operational excellence;
    • Create and maintain a collaborative work environment that facilitates the achievement of business plan objectives;
    • Review quality and service level of staff, including assignment of works, second reviews, and as needed, coordinate the pre-loan construction review, including interpretation of loan approvals and budget balancing; Assess processing events for exception approval;
    • Ensure the department is in compliance with policies and procedures

    Qualifications

    To be considered, we are seeking the following:


    Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics;
    Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Loan Administrator for Commercial Real Estate;
    5+ years of supervisory experience;
    Advance knowledge of Loan Documents and Funding Processes;
    Strong Knowledge in interpretation of risk assessment;
    Strong loan servicing system knowledge with emphasis in date quality
    Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
    Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization including senior management;
    Excellent decision making, problem solving and organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment;
    Ability to build effective relationships internally with multiple business units
