    Customer Service Representative (CSR) is the frontline representative who processes transactions and introduces bank’s products/services at the teller line. The candidate will demonstrate East West Bank’s Vision, Mission, and Values through words and actions. You will enhance customer satisfaction by warmly greeting customers, consistently engaging and connecting with customers.

    Duties (not limited to)

    • Demonstrate East West Bank’s Vision, Mission and Values through words and actions
    • Process teller transactions accurately and efficiently by following operation policies and procedures.
    • Comply with Bank policies and procedures, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, Gramm-Leach-Bliley (Private) and Fair Lending regulations when referring accounts, maintaining profiles, and conducting financial transactions.
    • Enhance customer satisfaction by warmly greeting customers, consistently engaging and connecting with customers, using customer’s name throughout transactions and using rapport building conversation when conducting teller transactions.
    • Identify customer’s needs by listening and observing customer transactions and historical information.
    • Inform customers about the features and benefits of Bank’s products/services based on customer’s financial needs.
    • CSRs can team up with Retail Branch Manager (RBM), Retail Assistant Branch Manager (RABM) or Premier Banker (PB) to close the sale after customer is acknowledged to accept the product/service offer.
    • Strengthen business partnership to provide optimal customer experience and maximize sales opportunities to retain and grow profitable customer base by working closely with RBM, RABM, or PB.
    • Willing to work flexible or extended working hours to meet business needs.

     

    Qualifications/Requirements

    • At least 6 months of recent customer service experience
    • At least 6 months of recent cash handling experience
    • Previous teller and new accounts experience in a banking institution a plus
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Proficiency in Word and Excel
