    We are currently seeking a Finanical Reporting Manager.

    Responsibilities

    • Review and prepare public filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8K, 11K and other SEC filings), surveys and assist in regulatory filings as needed.
    • Review/prepare various schedules for internal reporting requirements including the monthly Board package.
    • Manage the SEC team and provide support to the staff.
    • Monitor the development and applicability of emerging accounting and reporting requirements issued by the SEC, US GAAP, PCAOB and other regulatory reporting requirements. Prepare position papers on the impact to the company and implement the accounting treatments.
    • Work with various personnel and departments to collect information and data for both for the preparation of both internal reporting package and external filings; prepare support files; challenge the appropriateness of disclosures; complete all relevant disclosure check lists.
    • Streamline processes within the financial reporting team and amongst other departments to improve efficiency and ensure accurate reporting.
    • Assist in the tagging and review of the detailed Xtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) tagging of financial statements and footnotes
    • Communicate with the external and internal auditors regarding financial reporting and accounting related matters.
    • Responsible for the effectiveness of the internal controls within the reporting department.
    • Overseeing adherence to timeline milestones of the Q/K and earnings releases to ensure timely and accurate filing.
    • Provide direct support on various special projects.

    Qualifications

    • At least 8-10 or more years of public accounting and/or public company SEC reporting experience. This should include a minimum of 3 years of SEC financial reporting experience.
    • Solid knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and SEC rules and regulations are required combined with the ability to research and propose company positions on complex accounting and reporting issues
    • Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills; including research skills regarding current and prospective updates to reporting
    • Ability to independently work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity. Flexibility to work hours needed to meet deadlines.
    • Prior experience with XBRL tagging preferred.
    • Banking experience highly preferred
    • Must be team-oriented and able to handle multiple assignments and be deadline oriented.
    • Demonstrates strong attention to detail and accuracy and the ability to execute and follow-through to completion and documentation
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Office
    • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university;
    • CPA required
