    We are currently seeking a Payroll Specialist. The payroll specialist will compile and maintain payroll and personnel records.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Review time sheets and audit for accuracy, identifying any issues and resolving issues with appropriate managers. Review time adjustments e.g. sick or vacation against available accrual to ensure proper record keeping and input all adjustments
    • Review benefit deductions as they are elected e.g. deferred comp, 401k, health and welfare
    • Input one time payments e.g. bonus, vacation cash out, stock refund, referral fees, commission. Calculate and any retro adjustments and revised overtime basis for one time payments
    • Audit work of partner and resolve any issues prior to release to supervisor. Review all registers for accuracy
    • Manage files for time sheets including payroll date stamp and archiving
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • High Schol Diploma required
    • 1 year experience in payroll/admin required
    • Each team member must have knowledge of BSA/AML/OFAC Laws/Regulations, understand how these obligations relate to his/her role, and comply with these laws and regulations
    • Basic knowledge of payroll
    • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
    • Good verbal and written communication
