    The Loan Monitoring Supervisor is mainly responsible for supervision of Loan Monitoring staff, oversight of the Bank’s commercial loan FNMA loan monitoring processes, and support Loan Monitoring related ad hoc tasks, projects and/or initiatives. This position requires the individual to have good commercial lending knowledge, excellent communication skills and multi-tasking skills, and ability to manage, train, and motivate employees.


    • Manages the department, trains and evaluates staff, develop and monitor staff scorecards, prioritizes and assigns work, and ensures accurate and timely completion of work.
    • Respond and assist Loan Monitoring staff in responding to inquiries from internal business partners (such as the front-end lending teams, back-office Loan Operations teams, Credit Supervision, Credit Administration, etc.) or external customers regarding Loan Monitoring related questions.
    • Write, update and maintain Loan Monitoring related procedures to ensure there is no gap in Loan Monitoring processes and between bankwide policy/procedures and Loan Monitoring practices.
    • Identify opportunities for improving efficiency, accuracy and/or customer service of Loan Monitoring processes and work with related internal and/or external parties to implement the applicable changes.
    • Manage and handle FNMA loan portfolio monitoring related tasks.
    • Manage the preparation of the reports regarding Loan Monitoring reports that are provided to Management and  internal business partners (such as the front-end lending teams, back-office Loan Operations teams, Credit Supervision, Credit Administration, etc.).
    • Manage the Loan Monitoring waiver practice based on the policy and/or guidance from Credit Supervision.
    • Work with IT and/or vendor to resolve Loan Monitoring system related issues as necessary.
    • Provide business partners with support on and be actively involved in the projects/initiatives that need input from Loan Monitoring.
    • Provide training to internal business partners regarding Loan Monitoring system as necessary.
    • Perform related operational and administrative functions as directed by management.


    • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, engineering, science or related fields.
    • Minimum 3 year experience in commercial lending; Minimum 2 year experience in commercial loan monitoring.
    • Minimum 1 year experience supervising Loan Monitoring or Credit Admin related function teams.
    • Multi-task capability required
    • Working knowledge and understanding of commercial loan monitoring, commercial credit and FNMA loan monitoring
    • Attention to detail.
    • Intermediate skill in MS Excel and Word
    • IBS Insight, LPS and CASH experience preferred
    • Comfortable with rapid pace and ambiguity
