With an emphasis on commercial real estate banking experience, East West Bank is seeking a seasoned credit officer with outstanding executive presence and a hands-on management style who can operate effectively in a fast pace environment. The successful candidate will bring proven credit skills combined with an effective business acumen in economy and industries throughout the U.S market. East West Bank is seeking a special individual who can prudently grow and support its Commercial Real Estate (CRE) and Construction business lines.
This person will be responsible for a significant portion of East West Bank’s CRE loan portfolio and all other counterparty and credit exposures for both new approvals and on a continuing basis in order to prevent or minimize loan losses; assist in the detection of deterioration in loan quality; and review and ensure that internal compliance objectives are met.
Strong leadership and people management skills are required – especially the proven ability to work with different business units and personalities as an effective player/coach with the ability to balance top-line and bottom-line priorities. A strong executive presence is required along with excellent presentation and communication skills, as well as a passion for the business.
As we continue expanding our business, East West Bank is adding this position to support the overall business in CRE group. The position will be based in Pasadena, California and will report to the Deputy Chief Credit Officer for CRE.
