    East West Bank is seeking a UX/UI Web Developer. The UX/UI Designer/Developer will join our Marketing team and work on the maintenance of our external websites as well as our internal intra-net. He/she will be primarily responsible for front-end/middle-tier development of our web and .NET applications. Our ideal candidate should be a self-starter with a strong design and technical background with the ability to work within a fast-paced development environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform tasks as required for the design, development, implementation and continuing operation of various systems including: the company intranet, public website and internal web applications
    • Actively participate in concept development and design ideation as part of a small team.
    • Design and code front-end UI for responsive web and mobile native properties while delivering clean, efficient, well-documented code employing industry best-practices for our web sites and internal web applications.
    • Design, develop and maintain internal technical documentation and requirements.
    • Responsible for the design and development of multiple projects to fill needs as defined by the project manager in a timely manner, working specifically in the field of web development (internet, intranet, extranet)
    • Fulfill web requests for updates to external websites, internal applications and intranet
    • Work with marketing teams and IT to establish landing pages, graphic materials, and collateral for various audience and event driven campaigns and deliver the best user experiences closely tied to our brand.
    • Run SEO analytical reports as needed
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 4 years of functional/professional experience
    • Each team member must have knowledge of BSA/AML/OFAC Laws/Regulations, understand how these obligations relate to his/her role, and comply with these laws and regulations
    • Enthusiastic and professional with great verbal and written communication skills.
    • Confident, assertive self-starter, who is extremely organized and goal-driven with a stellar attention to detail.
    • Expertise in most of the following technologies: JavaScript, Angular.js, HTML, CSS, AJAX, C#, ASP.NET, MVVM architecture, MVC architecture.
    • Understanding of Information Architecture and UX Design.
    • Expert understanding of various browser compatibility issues.
    • Proven capabilities in website design, and web development.
    • Strong knowledge of web architecture, page layout, typography, and photo editing
    • Experience in UX/UI design and proficiency in Adobe Photoshop required.
    • Understanding of branding, typography and design principles a plus.
    • Experience using Adobe Analytics and other web analytics system a plus.
    • Experience in SE0 a plus.
    • UX micro-interactions, a plus.
    • Online web portfolio required
