  • Overview

    East West Bank is seeking a Customer Service Representative. The Customer Service Representative must be able to perform in a fast-paced, high volume capacity with face-to-face interaction with customers in a banking center. 
    Duties (not limited to)

    • Cashing checks, processing deposits, withdrawals, transfers and loan payments
    • Documenting larger deposits using Currency Transaction Reports
    • Identifies fraudulent activity to prevent potential losses and follows bank policies and procedures
    • Identifying and selling East West Bank products and services beneficial to customer needs
    • Addressing customer questions/concerns referring to appropriate internal resources for resolution
    • Provides solutions to help meet customers financial goals through customer referrals and cross selling of banking products
    • Responds to customer questions and concerns
    • Performs duties as assigned
    • Developing new customer relationships and opening new accounts for customers Qualifications/Requirements

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or GED required
    • 1+years of professional experience
    • Strong cash handling, customer service, and computer experience required
    • Bilingual Mandarin or Cantonese
    • Desire to help others
    • Good listening and problems solving
    • Strong attention to details and computer skills
    • Professional and courteous communications kills
    • Previous cash handling experience a plus
