  • Overview

    East West Bank is seeking a Data Management & Integration Project Analyst. The Data Management & Integration Project Analyst's primary responsibilities include managing, coordinating and completion of DMI initiated and assigned projects and initiatives. The position actively manages and interacts with various projects and initiatives in the department, ensuring timely delivery of projects, and creating and delivering progress reports and presentations.

    In addition the position will assist Data Management analysts and managers in DMI to review data and produce exception and other reporting.

    Finally, the position will provide key assistance to management, maintenance and documentation of data repositories to conform to rules and processes established by the Data Quality/Governance Steering Committee.

    Responsibilities

    • Work with business and technology teams to accurately gather and interpret requirements, specifications, data models, etc., for creation of detailed project plans
    • Act as liaison between IT and Business Units to document, track and coordinate project plans for DMI initiatives and objectives
    • Maintain functional and technical artifacts including data mappings, data architecture, project documentation, and data dictionaries.
    • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for execution of projects
    • Ensure that projects stay on-time, and within scope
    • Develop and maintain project scopes and deliverables, involving all relevant stakeholders
    • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
    • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope and schedule
    • Provide project performance reports using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
    • Report and escalate to management as needed
    • Organize and monitor inter-connected projects
    • Coordinate and manage cross-project activities
    • Prepare reports and presentations for management

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in commercial banking environment
    • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Solid organizational skills including meticulous attention to detail and multi­tasking skills
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Project and PowerPoint
    • Strong presentation skills
    • Analytical and problem solving skills including troubleshooting
    • Able to work under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines
    • Can-do attitude, self-motivated and strong work ethic
    • Self-driven to identify areas of improvement
    • Must be team-oriented with experience working on interdepartmental team projects
    • Product knowledge in: Loans ,Deposit, Banking operations
    • PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus
