We are currently seeking a Fraud Investigator. The Fraud Investigator reports directly to the Assistant Fraud Investigations Manger, or Fraud Investigations Team Lead. Schedule flexibility and willingness to work extended hours, including occasional weekends, as needed to meet the needs of the department are required.


    • Investigate suspected fraud events and reduce potential loss exposure by being compliant with applicable policies and procedures
    • Conducts analysis and research of account activity to assess levels of risk and detect fraudulent activity by using bank systems, resources, policies and procedures to evaluate accounts
    • Reviews detection reports that monitor suspicious activity
    • Provides guidance to business partners to ensure appropriate actions are taken to mitigate losses and loss exposure.
    • interview victims, witnesses and/or suspects in order to obtain case details
    • Creates and submits appropriate internal and external reporting of suspicious/fraudulent activity.
    • Assist other Fraud Investigators with daily tasks as necessary to keep department responsibilities and deadlines within service level agreements
    • Assists with providing feedback to enhance departmental procedures
    • Assist with the coordination of internal compliance validation testing for various departmental risk and fraud processes
    • Participate in meetings and projects as needed
    • Perform other duties as assigned


    • Each team member must have knowledge of BSA/AML/OFAC Laws/Regulations, understand how these obligations relate to his/her role, and comply with these laws and regulations
    • Experience with Check Fraud Claims
    • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
    • Strong research, analytical and decision-making skills
    • Works well under pressure
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
