It is now one of the largest specialized industry groups in the Bank.
We are currently seeking a Portfolio Manager. The Portfolio Manager will be responsible for underwriting, credit monitoring and portfolio management for the Private Equity group’s clients in the Western U.S., which is one of the largest and fastest-growing portfolios in the commercial bank. The Private Equity group currently manages credit facilities totaling over $2 billion for a variety of private investment firms and funds located in the U.S. and China,. This position will be based in Santa Clara, CA.

Strong writing, interpersonal and communication skills are critical
Assertive and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
Ideally 4-7 years of banking experience, including at least two years of credit portfolio management experience and credit training
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; preference for finance or accounting major or concentration
Working knowledge of private equity and the major components of investment vehicles
