    East West Bank is seeking a Loan Administrator. Sr. Loan Administrator who will be responsible for performing the tasks relative to loan documentation, closing, funding, documentation support, and callback of loans booked, while serving as the internal and external liaison between Loan Servicing and third-party closing agents, including attorneys. Perform all other financial tasks related to the Portfolio such as; advances, LIBOR rollover, paydowns, etc. Ensure that loan documentation, closing, and servicing meet all regulatory and legal requirements. Additionally, the Sr. Loan Administrator will provide on-going training and guidance to other members of the Loan Administration Team.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform due diligence including review of business entity documents; such as Corporations, Partnerships, LLCs
    • Act as liaison between Escrow, Title, Attorneys and all interested parties to coordinate documentation, funding and closing of Commercial Loans including but not limited to; CRE, C & I, Capital Markets, and Private Equity Loans.
    • Review all Closing Documents prepared by Counsel with receipt of consistency letter in accordance to the credit approval and compliance with conditions precedent to closing. Ensure appropriate credit approvals and completeness in accordance with established Bank Policy and Procedures.
    • Initiate disbursement, prepare wire instructions and book loans and commitments into the FIS loan accounting system with ability to determine there are no material exceptions prior to funding
    • May Prepare Loan Documents on LaserPro in accordance with Bank Policy and according to the terms of the approved credit and work with internal legal on the most complex and non-standard requests
    • May prepare Lender's Instructions
    • Perform callback on loans closed and booked by others to ensure data quality
    • Perfect all Collateral including but not limited to; Real Estate, Equipment, Blanket Liens, Cash, Securities, etc.
    • Follow up on post-closing exceptions and receipt of original documents
    • Prepare loan file for Scanning
    • Perform ongoing maintenance and financial activity on the loan portfolio with ability to determine appropriate approval and availability of funds
    • May provide guidance and mentoring to Loan Administration team mates
    • May assist in creating/establishing procedures in support of the Loan Administration Team
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • 3 years of loan administration experience
    • 3 years of experience as a Loan documenter or Loan Closer
    • Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting (Preferred) or equivalent experience
