    East West Bank is seeking a Business Relationship Manager. The Business Relationship Manager (BRM) is a business development position who offers commercial credit, commercial deposit, cash management products and other financial services to small and medium size businesses with annual revenue greater than $2MM and spends more 100% of time on business development outside of branch.


    • Build relationship with business clients by uncovering client's needs to provide financial solutions that include commercial loans, business deposit accounts, treasury management products, and other financial products and services.
    • Proactively develop new business opportunities in local market through consistent outbound and effective prospecting activities to increase profitable customer base.
    • Effectively manage and expand business client portfolio by using relationship building process to sustain and build quality of customer relationships. .
    • Demonstrate significant sales results by exceeding assigned commercial loan goal and commercial deposit goal by managing daily and weekly sales routines/activities.
    • Strengthen business partnership to provide optimal customer experience and maximize sales opportunities to retain and grow profitable customer base by working closely with business partners.
    • Involve with the local organizations and participate in business fixer events to introduce Bank's product and services, and expand East West Bank's relationship and reputation.
    • Willing to work flexible or extended working hours to meet business needs.
    • Demonstrate East West Bank's Vision, Mission, and Values through words and actions
    • Comply with Bank policies and procedures, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, Gramm-Leach-Bliley (Private) and Fair Lending regulations when opening accounts, maintaining profiles, and conducting financial transactions


    • 3+ years of small business/commercial lending experience with general understanding and underwriting of C&I, CRE, SBA loans and industry-focused lending required.
    • 5+ years of banking experience preferred.
    • Strong outside business development skill with proven successful sales track record.
    • Strong communication skill.
    • Bilingual in English and Chinese Preferred.
    • B.A. or equivalent education degree preferred.
    • High energy, results- oriented and works well in a team environment
