    As a valuable East West Bank team member, your duties (not limited to) will include: 

    • Attract and retain new talents in the outbound business with a focus in the SBA 7a loan business
    • Working closely with SBA Team Manager in assessing and providing guidance and directions to BDOs to increase sales nationally and develop and execute marketing plans to increase Bank’s inbound branch referral of SBA loans
    • In partnership with the SBA Team Manager to meet or exceed established production targets while balancing losses.
    • Increase SBA/Micro/Express Loans team’s efficiency to result in an increase of small business loans with sales under $1MM and loans under loan amounts of less than $50,000.
    • Ensures loan portfolio quality and sound portfolio management
    • Assess and develop strategic plans (including Existing Talen Assessment) to increase market share in new regions.
    • Build rapport and provide mentorship to employees to develop a high preforming team
    • Perform other duties as assigned


    • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
    • Intermediate to advanced math, accounting, and finance skills
    • 10+ years of experience in underwriting SBA 504s and 7(a) experience required
