    The Syndication Loan Administrator will be responsible for the Loan Closing and Servicing of Syndicated Loan and Loan Agency portfolio serving as a liaison between the lending unit, Syndication Deal Team, outside counsel and participating banks. Syndication Administrator will perform all due diligence tasks relative to Closing new loans where EWB is lead or non-lead. Responsibilities include working on a high volume portfolio of loans, coordination of activities with all participants ensuring proper management and receipt of all funding, proper interest setting and timely management of payments. Ensures compliance with Bank policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations.  









    • Responsible for interpreting loan documents, perform due diligence including Flood Procedures, proper execution of loan documents and boarding of new Syndication and Loan Agency loans on loan System
    • Perform LIBOR/Pricing reset for Syndication and Loan Agency portfolio
    • Process syndication advances, payments, payoff,
    • Process loan extensions, modifications and amendments
    • Prepare all loan fees and Letter of Credit fee invoices
    • Process incoming and outgoing wires while ensuring receipt of proper notification from the lead bank
    • Prepare all Notices to Participating Banks and remit payments and request funding for advances
    • Conduct research and resolve errors and payment exceptions and misapplications
    • Respond to inquiries received from Relationship Manager, Syndication Deal Team, and initiate contact with other Bank’s loan servicing team to resolve
    • Review Delinquent Loan Reports and ensure timely receipt of notices from lead banks
    • Research and analyze problems and provide resolutions in a timely manner.
    • Reconcile general ledger and call back daily work.
    • Provide effective customer service and assists in resolving problems within given authority.
    • Perform all loan accounting activities on the loan system for Loan Sale or Loan Repurchase
    • Special projects as assigned by manager



    • Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting
    • 5+ years of experience in Syndication Loan Administration
    • Advance knowledge of Syndication industry practice and processes
    • Advanced knowledge of external counsel loan documentation
    • FIS loan accounting experience preferred
    • Excellent decision-making, problem solving and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
    • Microsoft Office required
