    We are currently seeking a Loan Administrator. The Loan Administrator will be responsible for performing the tasks relative to loan closings and fundings, documentation support, and callback of loans booked, while serving as the internal and external liaison between Loan Servicing, third-party closing agents including attorneys. Perform all other financial tasks related to the Portfolio such as; advances, LIBOR rollover, paydowns, etc. Ensure that loan documentation, closing, and servicing meet all regulatory and legal requirements.

    As a valuable East West Bank team member, your duties (not limited to) will include:

    • Perform due diligence including review of business entity documents; such as Corporations, Partnerships, LLCs, Sole Props
    • Act as liaison between Escrow, Title, Attorneys and all interested parties to coordinate documentation, funding and closing of Commercial Loans including but not limited to; CRE, C & I, Capital Markets, and Private Equity Loans.
    • Review all Closing Documents prepared by Counsel with receipt of consistency letter in accordance to the credit approval and compliance with conditions precedent to closing. Ensure appropriate credit approvals and completeness in accordance with established Bank Policy and Procedures.
    • Initiate disbursement, prepare wire instructions and book loans and commitments into the FIS loan accounting system with ability to determine there are no material exceptions prior to funding
    • May Prepare Loan Documents on LaserPro in accordance with Bank Policy and according to the terms of the approved credit
    • May prepare Lender's Instructions
    • Perform callback on loans closed and booked by others to ensure data quality
    • Perfect all Collateral including but not limited to; Real Estate, Equipment, Blanket Liens, Cash, Securities, etc.
    • Follow up on post-closing exceptions and receipt of original documents
    • Prepare loan file for Scanning
    • Perform ongoing maintenance and financial activity on the loan portfolio with ability to determine appropriate approval and availability of funds

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    • Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred or equivalent experience
    • 5 years of experience as a Loan Administrator or Loan Closer
    • Commercial Real Estate, C&I, Structured Finance loan servicing experience
    • FIS loan accounting experience preferred
    • LaserPro experience preferred
    • Knowledgeable with Real EstateTitle Work preferred
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to provide excellent customer service
    • Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
    • Must be a self-starter and possess positive attitude with good organizational skills
