Overview

East West Bank is seeking a Director of PNW Market. The Director of PNW Market oversees commercial lending activity for an industry vertical and/or geographic area. Manages and recommends lending objectives and practices. Responsible for large asset loan portfolios. Establishes lending goals and performance levels for specified commercial branches according to goals set by the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with middle market/commercial customers.
  • Manage and maintain existing customer relationships.
  • Negotiates approved terms and conditions with borrowers.
  • Approve and review all CCRs from Relationship Managers.
  • Acquires qualified referrals from existing clients and investors.
  • Extensive relationship management.
  • Build successful relationships with retail banking partners
  • Identifies and analyzes potential loan markets to develop prospects for commercial loans.
  • Manages and leads team of relationship managers and support staff.
  • Mentor and train relationship managers on sales skills.
  • Other duties as needed by senior management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in banking, finance or other related field.
  • 15+ years of commercial lending banking experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of direct portfolio management experience
  • Strong background in Finance
  • Strong knowledge base in Treasury, FX and Derivative products
  • Demonstrated abilities in coordinating the resources of the back office to bring effective full service solutions to the company
  • Proven sales track record and strong negotiation skills.

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $175,000.00/Yr. - USD $275,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
