Overview

 

The Senior Associate / AVP, Assistant Relationship Manager supports corporate and private equity client relationships, handling client servicing, account management, transaction execution, and business development support while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

 

Responsibilities

  • Serve as key contact point for Client’s operational instructions.
  • Provide support to Relationship Managers in Commercial Banking or Private Equity on client management including daily enquiries, operational transactions and deal execution.
  • Support the business team in accounting opening and other KYC actions.
  • Perform CDD/KYC and compliance related matters and collaborate with internal parties for account conduct monitoring.
  • Align with the bank’s strategy and business plans to build a substantial deposit portfolio.
  • Conduct credit analyses and prepare credit proposals.
  • Participate in client meetings with Team Head and assist in document preparation and logistics management.
  • Perform any ad-hoc project as assigned. 
  • Ensure compliance of internal guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • University degree or above in Banking, Finance, Financial Engineering, Economic, Accounting, Business Administration or relevant disciplines.
  • 3-8 years of relevant experience in commercial banking
  • Proven banking experience and strong customer-facing experience
  • Experience in handling due diligence on corporate clients and knowledge of AMLO is a must.
  • Excellent team player with strong motivation to grow existing business and win new business.
  • High level of customer centricity mind set with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services.
  • Strong relationship management, communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to multi-tasks and deliver results in a timely manner.
  • Good time management, interpersonal and analytical skills; Familiar with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including Mandarin.
  • Comply with any conditions imposed by the HKMA and other regulatory bodies.
