Overview

The Mortgage Loan Processor assists the mortgage loan officers with the processing of
mortgage applications and loans.

Responsibilities

  • Interview loan applicants, when necessary; review and process all mortgage loan
  • Obtain any documentation needed from member for processing.
  • Distribute necessary disclosures to applying
  • Verify applicant information including employment, salary, liabilities, and deposit
  • Review credit report to ensure credit worthiness aligns with White Eagle and
    mortgage purchaser
  • Calculate and provide loan estimates for closing costs to
  • Order title work, flood determinations, hazard binders and
  • Ensure department files are maintained and within company Track recorded mortgages/assignments and final title policies.
  • Assist with phone calls directed to the department and finish to completion if
    possible or direct to the correct person.
  • Develop an understanding of the credit union history, philosophy, organization, bylaws,
    and operations
  • Assist in all other areas of the job to ensure proper department
  • Serve as a notary
  • May perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Education: High School graduate (or equivalent). BA or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Good organizational skills with keen attention to detail. Able to
    communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. Excellent mathematical and
    statistical aptitude. Two years of experience in mortgage processing is preferred.

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $20.00/Hr. - USD $31.00/Hr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
