Overview

Join our dynamic accounting team and take a leadership role in a dedicated team to drive financial transparency and compliance in several key focus areas, including but not limited to:

 

  • Consolidation
    Foreign subsidiaries & branch reporting
  • Broker-dealer & not-for-profit entity
  • Share-based compensation
  • Tax credit and other investments

As part of a rapidly expanding organization, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging automation and analytics to enhance accuracy, efficiency and insight.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage month-end close process (including preparation/review of journal entries) and consolidation process ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data; review monthly and quarterly general ledger and financial statement-level variance analysis
  • Review board materials and supporting schedules
  • Oversee preparation and review of supporting schedules and reports for internal stakeholders and external auditors; assist with audits of financial statements and related disclosures
  • Support accounting requirements for new transactions, services, and system enhancements
    rive process improvements and automation initiatives to optimize efficiency and reporting quality
  • Liaise with external and internal auditors and regulatory bodies
  • Analyze newly-released regulations and accounting pronouncements to assess reporting impact and collaborate with both reporting and operational departments to effectively meet new reporting requirements; perform accounting analysis in accordance with U.S. GAAP
  • Establish and maintain robust internal controls, accounting policies and procedures
  • May perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

 

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory reporting requirements for financial institutions
  • Banking and financial services experience highly preferred
  • Minimum 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting and/or public company environments
  • CPA license required and MBA preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Advanced analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with senior management and cross-functional teams
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with automation tools a plus

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $110,000.00/Yr. - USD $150,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
