Responsible for all FX-related trades and stock orders for the bank and customers, working a mid-shift from 2:30pm to 11:30pm

• Handle FX trades and stock orders for Corporate and Wealth Management customers
• Provide instant market information and technical analysis to assist marketing officer in serving customers
• Liaise with Bank’s head office colleagues and quote competitive FX rates
• Be a team player and understand the importance of bridging relationships and connections internally with EWB and externally for customers
• Ensure compliance with trading guidelines, position and risk limits
• Be accountable for achieving assigned profit objectives through FX, derivatives and rates trading within the delegated authority and risk / counterparty limits
• Handle ad hoc duties assigned by supervisor

• Degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, or related disciplines
• Licensed with HKMA / SFC for Type 1 & Type 4 activities required
• Holder of ECF-TM qualification is preferable
• Familiar with the spot FX & FX derivatives market (forwards, swaps, & options etc.), with solid experience
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in securities/ banking sector
• Proactive, customer-oriented and responsible
• Excellent command of spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
