Overview

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team plays a key role in the company’s planning, forecasting, and performance reporting processes. We are looking for a Business Data Analyst who enjoys working with data, improving reporting workflows, and partnering with teams to enhance data quality and efficiency. This role blends technical skills with business understanding and offers opportunities to contribute to automation and analytics enhancements within FP&A.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, refine, and maintain SQL queries, ETL processes, and reporting pipelines
  • Support recurring reporting procedures, including validating and reconciling data from multiple system sources
  • Identify opportunities to streamline manual processes and contribute to automation initiatives
  • Investigate data discrepancies and help resolve root causes
  • Contribute to data-related initiatives by helping define requirements, proposing improvements, and implementing enhancements
  • Perform system administration tasks (user access, configuration updates) for assigned applications
  • Communicate effectively with technical and business partners
  • May perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, computer science, data analytics, or related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in a financial, data, or analytical role (FP&A experience is a plus)
  • Strong SQL (SSMS) and Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • Basic Python experience (simple scripts for automation)
  • Experience with data validation, reconciliations, and KPI/reporting development
  • Experience with Power BI, Hyperion, or Visual Studio is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $71,000.00/Yr. - USD $110,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
