Overview

We are searching for a Project Manager with a strong computer technology infrastructure background who will play a pivotal role in launching and supporting company initiatives related to key technological advances. The IT Project Manager is responsible for leading IT work efforts intended to support and deliver technical IT implementations, including everything from software development to IT hardware infrastructure buildouts. This position requires the ability to gather requirements, evaluate risks, work directly with team members to accomplish tasks, and document key artifacts for business stakeholders.

You should be an independent thinker and self-starter who takes ownership of projects and delivers results that positively impact the organization's customers, employees, and bottom line. The ideal candidate will have the ability to simultaneously handle multiple projects, be comfortable discussing cutting edge technologies, and be able to translate those concepts into concrete, straightforward, and useful business deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Project Coordination and Delivery
    • Lead departmental initiatives, supporting the planning, execution and delivery of IT projects.
    • Fully gather project requirements consulting with business and IT subject matter experts to generate a fully developed project plan.
    • Oversee progress tracking and cross-team communication, ensuring project stakeholders and sponsors are aligned on status, action items, and the remaining work effort.
    • Coordinate QA and UAT cycles ahead of delivery, tracking issues and progress in line with the project schedule.
    • Ensure the final deliverables meet the requirements for operational readiness: awareness, training, change management, ongoing support.
  • Technical Collaboration
    • Work closely with engineering, infrastructure, security, and architecture teams to coordinate work and remove blockers.
    • Support documentation efforts including requirements, technical design documentation, user guides, and procedures.
    • Participate in solution discussions, design sessions, and testing cycles with hands‑on involvement as needed.
  • Process Support
    • Ensure projects follow enterprise IT governance practices, track according to the defined SDLC, ensuring the collection and posting of required artifacts.
    • Document, manage and mitigate risks and issues.
    • Maintain project documentation in Confluence and project planning in Jira, according to PMO standards.
    • May perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required

  • 1-3 years of related IT experience in a project management/project coordinator capacity
  • Experience in a fast-paced IT environment working with technical experts, IT and business leaders, and business staff using IT deliverables
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize assignments/tasks
  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferred

  • Coursework or certification in project management
  • Familiarity with IT concepts such as:
    • APIs, databases, data flows, environments
    • System upgrades, deployments, configuration
    • IT Operations, Incident/Change/Problem Management
  • Banking/Financial Services background
  • PMP Certification or equivalent

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $80,000.00/Yr. - USD $110,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
