Overview

The Structured Finance/Specialty Finance Senior Credit Analyst will be responsible for underwriting, credit monitoring and portfolio management of a portfolio of clients where the repayment of the loan is based on cash flows provided by various asset classes.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assessing the credit risk and quality of transactions in the portfolio
  • Assist Relationship Manager and Portfolio Manager in underwriting and managing transactions according to the Bank established guidelines and policies
  • Analyze transactions and create credit memoranda for new loans and modifications.
  • Analyze client financial statements
  • Manage the renewal process by working with the RM and PM, the client and the credit department
  • Review legal documentation for accuracy and compliance with approval requirements
  • Ensure the portfolio administration and risk management of each client relationship follows established EWB credit policy, procedures, and business strategy as well as commercial and regulatory guidelines
  • Provide ongoing monitoring of credit/covenant compliance
  • Perform other administrative duties required for the maintenance of a portfolio of clients
  • Ensure compliance with EWB regulatory and credit requirements
  • Maintain knowledge of market conditions.

  • Ability to understand and analyze complex loan structures.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong Excel skills

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Major or Minors in Accounting, Finance, or Economics preferred.
  • At least three years of experience in structured finance/securitization/specialty finance.

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $67,000.00/Yr. - USD $95,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
