Overview

East West Bank is currently seeking a Senior Portfolio Manager for our Fund Finance business in the Eastern Region. This individual will work with the Managing Director for the Eastern Region and other relationship team members in structuring, underwriting and managing a portfolio of loans within the Fund Finance space. This position handles needs for a wide array of borrowers with different credit structures and depository requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Underwrite, manage and structure fund financing loans including capital call lines, management company lines, NAV facilities and hybrid facilities, according to the Bank established guidelines and policies.
  • Conduct due diligence/analysis with new client relationships and draft opportunity memos as appropriate.
  • Manage the bank's Loan Approval Process, recommending approval and appropriate structure of credits for new and existing loans.
  • Partner with the Relationship Manager as the point of contact for the client; acting as a liaison to the Credit Department, the Commercial support staff and other internal business partners.
  • Work with credit analysts in reviewing existing credits.
  • Ongoing monitoring of credit/Covenant Compliance.
  • Ensure the portfolio administration and risk management of each client relationship is in compliance with established EWB credit policy, procedure and business strategy as well as commercial and regulatory guidelines.
  • Perform other administrative duties required for the maintenance of a portfolio of clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or combination of education and directly related experience.
  • Must have prior experience managing a team of credit analysts. 
  • Has 10 plus years of banking experience with direct portfolio management experience.
  • Must have experience in underwriting loans within the Fund Finance space.
  • Must be proficient in Excel for purposes of financial modeling.

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $185,000.00/Yr. - USD $225,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
