Overview

We are seeking a Senior Enterprise Solutions Architect to interface with business users from C-Level executives to entry-level associates, understand business processes and requirements, partner with key technology teams, develop solutions, and help guide the overall EWB Enterprise Business Solutions Architecture.

Responsibilities

As a valuable member of East West Bank IT Business Solutions Team, your duties will include (not limited to): 

  • Work with all business partners, Application Development, Technology Operations, Network Operations and Enterprise Architecture teams to analyze, develop and implement complex banking technology solutions to meet business needs. Includes working as an effective liaison between the front office, business units, operations and other technology groups to ensure that business needs are addressed while maintaining alignment to the Bank’s goals and strategy.
  • Evaluate existing and new technologies and business strategy to develop strategic direction for IT applications.
  • Perform problem solving on most complex projects and issues.
  • Research new developments in hardware, software and delivery methods. Remain current in techniques and tools enhancing system availability, reliability, scalability, maintainability and performance improvements.
  • Champion new cultural philosophies, practices, and tools that increase an organization’s ability to deliver applications and services at higher velocity.
  • Perform end-to-end impact assessment for technical changes and determine the impact on upstream and downstream systems and processes.
  • Partner with the Testing Lead to provide guidance in overall test strategy and test execution.
  • Document business process flows and technology solutions architecture diagrams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in technology-related field or relevant experience in implementing software for a financial institution
  • 10+ years of partnering with business units to design and implement solutions
  • 3+ years of financial services IT experience required (preferably experience in domestic and international payments, deposit and loan products)
  • 8+ years of .NET Development experience
  • 8+ years of Web Design (HTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS) experience
  • 10+ years of Design and Development of SOAP and RESTful API experience
  • Experience with SOA, middleware platforms and messaging technology such as IBM MQ, Enterprise Service Bus, Kafka etc.
  • Software Development best practices and design patterns
  • Implementing Windows services and Windows forms applications
  • JavaScript/DHTML, HTML, XML, JQuery
  • .NET Core 2+, ASP.Net 4+, MVC 4+, ADO.Net, Entity Framework, WCF etc.
  • SQL/TSQL for SQL Server 2016 and above
  • NoSQL Databases such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis etc.
  • Proficiency on Asynchronous programming, Generics, Threading, Concurrency and Object oriented programming
  • Experience or familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Experience with N-Tier system Architecture and Implementation
  • Experience in DevOps tools GIT, Jenkins, Maven etc.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for automating deployment, scaling and management of containerized applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to build relationships at all levels of the enterprise including external vendors
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and strategic thinking under a minimum of supervision
  • Independently motivated to research and evaluate technology advancements across applications and infrastructure
  • Must possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Strong customer service skills

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $175,000.00/Yr. - USD $225,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
