Overview

In this critical role, you will oversee daily on-site operations for banking and retail facility projects branch renovations, office constructions, and facility upgrades delivering projects that reflect East West Bank’s high standards.
You’ll be the primary on-site leader: coordinating subcontractors, architects, engineers, and internal teams while driving accountability, maintaining project schedules, and solving problems in real time. This role also supports facility operations and maintenance to keep our spaces operating seamlessly.

Responsibilities

On-Site Leadership & Oversight

  • Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring crews and subcontractors execute project plans safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Take ownership of site conditions and proactively address delays, conflicts, or emergencies as they arise.
  • Maintain a visible, hands-on presence to guide teams and monitor progress.

Scheduling & Coordination

  • Develop, update, and communicate project schedules with internal teams and external partners.
  • Ensure materials and resources arrive as needed to maintain project momentum.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to resolve design or implementation questions swiftly.

Compliance & Quality Control

  • Conduct regular inspections including bid walks, in-progress reviews, punch walks, and closeouts to verify compliance with all building codes, ADA regulations, and safety standards.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation and reporting to ensure transparency and accountability.

Responsive Facilities Support

  • Assist with branch and office maintenance requests and daily operations to uphold exceptional facility standards.
  • Provide prompt support for urgent issues affecting facility functionality.

Communication & Reporting

  • Deliver clear, timely updates to project managers and leadership, flagging risks or required decisions.
  • Foster strong working relationships with all stakeholders, modeling responsiveness and professionalism.

Qualifications

Experience & Education

  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience supervising construction projects banking, retail, or similar environments preferred.
  • Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
  • Trade license, OSHA, or LEED certifications strongly valued.

Skills & Expertise

  • Organized Multitasker: Skilled at tracking numerous priorities and keeping complex projects on schedule without sacrificing quality.
  • Problem Solver: Confident resolving on-site issues quickly and independently, with a solutions-focused mindset.
  • Technical Know-How: Proficient in reading blueprints, understanding building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire life safety), and using project tools (MS Office, Bluebeam).
  • Safety & Compliance: Knowledge of building codes, ADA regulations, and construction safety best practices.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written skills for collaborating with teams, vendors, and executives.

Additional Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record (required for site travel)
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders as needed

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $80,000.00/Yr. - USD $120,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
