Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Commercial Banker to join our Commercial Banking team in Houston, Texas.   This role is responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of middle-market and large business clients, delivering customized financial solutions to support their growth, operations, and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and grow strong relationships with commercial clients by understanding their business models, financial needs, and strategic goals.
  • Originate, structure, and manage complex commercial credit facilities, and specialized financing.
  • Strong credit background and work in collaboration with credit risk and underwriting teams.
  • Deliver a full range of banking services, including deposits solutions, treasury management, merchant services, and other bank related services.
  • Ensure compliance with internal credit policies, banking regulations, and risk management standards.
  • Lead client meetings and present credit solutions to banking senior leadership and credit partners.
  • Collaborate with product partners and internal stakeholders to provide seamless client service and uncover cross-selling opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in commercial banking, corporate lending, or financial services.
  • Proven track record of business development, growing and managing commercial portfolios and closing complex credit transactions.
  • Strong financial acumen with in-depth knowledge of credit analysis, structuring, and risk management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused, and collaborative environment.

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $65,000.00/Yr. - USD $220,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
