Overview

East West Bank is seeking a Relationship Manager for its Structured Finance Group. This is a position which develops relationships with Specialty Finance companies in the middle market space, and operating companies with financial assets.  Responsibilities will include origination support, underwriting and executing commercial loan transactions. Cross selling products offered by East West Bank including capital markets capabilities, deposit products, treasury management services, Interest Rate/FX Swaps and Trade Finance. Monitor and manage the risk of the loan portfolio to maintain strong credit performance. Identify new markets to continue to grow business. 

Responsibilities

  • Originate, underwrite, and execute commercial loan transactions to finance financial assets across a wide spectrum of asset classes
  • Develop relationships with potential borrowers across the US
  • Cross sell suite of additional products offered by East West Bank
  • Monitor and manage the risk of the loan portfolio to maintain strong credit performance
  • Ability to multi-task and be the point person on transactions, interacting with borrower, credit functions, operations, third party service providers, attorneys, and bank management

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in structured lending
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required. 
  • Strong credit underwriting experience through on the job experience or from formal bank credit training program
  • Strong knowledge in FX/ Interest Rate Swaps, Trade Finance and Treasury Products
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $100,000.00/Yr. - USD $275,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
