Overview

We are currently seeking a seasoned Sports Finance Manager focusing on the Sports Lending industry. Responsible for the overall production and growth of the Sports business. Responsible for growing revenue with major sports teams in the NFL, MLB, NHL, MLS and NBA, etc… and provides corporate banking services to including lending, stadium financing, treasury management, and capital market solutions.

Must have experience in developing new loans and deposits relationships within the Sports – Entertainment industry. Responsibilities

  • Utilizes a high degree of creativity and independence in developing and managing a large portfolio of diverse and complex clients
  • Has a thorough and updated understanding of the national sports teams and leagues and the unique dynamics they may have in partnership with other internal business partners to maintain a knowledge-based resource both internally for the bank and externally for the clients
  • Banking relationships in the Entertainment, New Media, Technology, Music, and Sports Lending division.
  • Acts as a consultant to clients and a resource to the Bank in developing and retaining business.
  • Demonstrates solid product and operational knowledge.
  • Possesses excellent corporate finance knowledge depending on the diversity of the portfolio.
  • Utilizes excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Responsible for attaining established individual, department, and Bank financial goals
  • Coordinates the entire underwriting & application process and including creation of Memos for Credit Department.
  • Performs forecasting for all loans.
  • Promotes high quality sports and entertainment loan customer service and related activities.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Various backgrounds in finance supported by Bachelor and Master degrees are strongly preferable.
  • 15+ years of relevant business experience selling financial loans to customers in the Entertainment, New Media, Technology, Music and Sports.
  • 10+ years of experience in banking, investment and financial planning with an emphasis on sales and relationship management of complex and sensitive accounts and business development within a similarly complex market
  • Advance and proven knowledge of deposit, credit and investment products
  • Demonstrate high level of expertise in sales, networking, negotiation, business acumen, relationship building and execution of responsibilities
  • Possess proficient interpersonal communication, writing and group presentation skills.

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $200,000.00/Yr. - USD $325,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
