Overview

East West Bank is currently seeking a Senior Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Analyst for our OFAC Group.

 

Responsibilities

  • Review OFAC alerts and perform screening, communication with business units for information relating to OFAC reviews.
  • Keep abreast on various OFAC sanctions and related regulations.
  • Perform screenings related to FinCEN314a, 311 special measures, negative news, PEP, etc.
  • Review and maintain various BSA reports for accuracy, monitor and refer suspicious activities to the appropriate BSA units for further investigation.
  • Coordinate work items amongst team members.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of BSA or banking experience.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strength for accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage OFAC alert volumes and meet production goals.
  • Data entry skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Service oriented with sense of urgency, strong reasoning and analytical skills.
  • PC literate Windows/Excel/PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Familiar with BSA/AML relevant law and regulations both in US and China.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and Mandarin Chinese is essential for this role.
  • CAMS certification preferred.
