Overview

The Senior Client Account Manager is responsible for portfolio management, credit monitoring and basic underwriting of Commercial Banking relationships. Primary responsibilities include analyzing financial data to determine the merits of loan requests, recommending structure, as well as identifying cross selling/referring opportunities of other services.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the deposit/loan portfolio, in partnership with Relationship Managers
  • Primary day-to-day contact to respond to requests and questions from existing clients
  • Gather and analyze portfolio data for senior management, in partnership w team head and RMs
  • Work with Relationship Managers to identify potential opportunities for cross-sell including deposit, trade, treasury management, foreign exchange, private banking, asset management, and other services to both existing and prospective clients; provide advice to clients regarding general banking needs
  • Perform other duties and special projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; preference for finance or accounting major or concentration
  • Ideally 5-10 years of banking experience, including at least three years of credit portfolio management experience and credit training
  • Flexibility and adaptability to a dynamic environment, and ability to learn quickly in a high-volume transaction scenario,this role is expected to stay late from time to time to get connected/stay on calls with cross border clients.  This does not happen all the time but will be required from time to time as this individual will need to do follow up calls with clients/prospects in Asia.
  • Strong writing, interpersonal and communication skills are critical
  • Assertive and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Working knowledge of private equity and the major components of investment vehicles.
  • Proficient in Mandarin; additional proficiency in Cantonese would be a plus.

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $90,000.00/Yr. - USD $150,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
