Overview

East West Bank is seeking a Credit Analyst. The Credit Analyst will evaluate the financial condition businesses applying for credit with the financial institution.

Responsibilities

  • Able to demonstrate moderate to superior skills in financial statement spreading and the evaluation of projections.
  • Support Relationship Manager / Portfolio Manager in evaluating, recommending, managing bank loans and other forms of bank credit.
  • Understand the Bank’s credit policy and procedures.
  • Keeps informed of current underwriting practices
  • Assist in accurately risk-rating loans/credits.
  • Evaluate both cash-flow and collateral-based loans/credits.
  • Perform cash Flow Modeling and Quarterly Credit Monitoring Report (QMR)
  • Facilitate developing problem loan credit solutions.
  • May support team portfolio sizes ranging between $50-250MM.
  • Assist with portfolio management, Loan Monitoring and updating ONTRACK Reports in compliance with C&I.
  • Other projects assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or concentration in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • Current college senior or recent graduate with 1-3 years of experience, ideally with credit training or experience in financial modeling and analysis
  • Strong writing and communication skills are critical
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work within set timelines while maintaining quality and attention to detail
  • Flexible and adaptable to a dynamic work environment

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $69,000.00/Yr. - USD $80,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
