Overview

East West Bank is seeking a Legal Process Specialist. The Legal Process Specialist position assist with the coordination and facilitation of the work flow, quality assurance reviews and branch requests. Position requires employee to process Levies, Subpoenas and other Legal Orders within the time-line specified in the Legal Order. Specialist would be required to be detail oriented and have the ability to work independent and as a team player. Ability to assess processes within department and provide feedback to streamline process, such as enhance steps or automate process.

Responsibilities

  • Process Levies: Review Legal Order for validity, review affected accounts, freeze / debit applicable account, notate action taken within affected account, update Legal Management System, and reply to Legal Order per order's instructions
  • Process Subpoenas: Review Legal Order validity, record subpoena accordingly and start gathering request documentation.
  • Other Legal. Processes: Review request for validity, track request accordingly and take appropriate action per process guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree Preferred
  • 2+ years of functional/professional experience required
  • Each team member must have knowledge of BSA/AML/OFAC Laws/Regulations, understand how these obligations relate to his/her role, and comply with these laws and regulations

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $26.00/Hr. - USD $32.00/Hr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
