Overview

The Lead Operational Risk Analyst will be responsible for helping with implementing Operational Risk Management programs within the Enterprise Risk Management function. 

This role will require an individual with knowledge of RCSAs, operational risk management, and project management. This role will require working and communicating with individuals throughout the institution regarding operational risk management and will be responsible for putting together operational risk presentations to various stakeholders including executive management and board members.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing operational risk management programs, policies and procedures
  • Managing the RCSA Project Plan and Inventory
  • Assist with the collection and analysis of operational risk events
  • Providing training to business units and first line of defense teams on operational risk programs
  • Perform credible challenge on operational risk metrics including Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)
  • Assist with the change management of changes to the RCSA program and taxonomies
  • Develop operational risk presentations and reports
  • Maintaining the Operational Risk and RCSA SharePoint site
  • Assist in coordination of meetings, take notes, and ensure timely follow up on action items assigned to assigned stakeholders

Qualifications

  • More than 5 years related experience in risk management, operational risk management, risk consulting, or internal audit.
  • Advanced communication and proficiency in creating presentations in PowerPoint and other software, with the ability to convey ideas and messages to diverse audiences
  • Advanced abilities in risk management software and Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Well organized, detail oriented and resourceful
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision with flexibility in work schedule and assignments
  • Ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical, proactive approach to problem-solving and workflow analysis, and decision-making skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to make sound risk/reward decisions using a balance of data, logic, and intuition

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $80,000.00/Yr. - USD $105,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
