Overview

We are seeking a Certified IAITAM professional with over 7+ years of experience in IT Asset Management (HAM & SAM) and process efforts from design to implementation and improvement. As a valued East West Bank team member, this position will focus on utilizing IT Asset Management best practices, tools and methodologies to develop industry standard CMDB.

Responsibilities

  • Execute recurring procedures related to asset management
  • Manual processes controls to ensure our automated processes continue to provide accurate and consistent asset management database data
  • Ensure existing validation failures are mitigated.
  • Maintain/support asset management system post release.
  • Expand Asset Management functionality to integrate with other IT processes, change, incident, problem etc.
  • Once change management is in Jira, data consistency reviewer for change submissions.
  • Craft and uphold thorough IT asset management policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and oversee all IT assets from acquisition to retirement.
  • Conduct routine audits to ensure compliance with asset management policies.
  • Verify assets with contracts, confirm hardware assets with actual inventory, and initiate corrective action and tract them.
  • Assist in building and maintaining accurate CMDB.
  • Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to track IT asset related documents such as Purchase Orders and Contracts.
  • Ensure adherence to vendor agreements and optimize software license usage.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware and software assets, including detailed configurations and usage data.
  • Identify opportunities for asset optimization and cost reduction through consolidation, standardization, and retirement.
  • Offer recommendations for asset procurement and retirement based on usage analysis and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with IT and security teams to ensure alignment with cybersecurity protocols.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in IT asset management.

Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of recent IT experience with 8 years of professional experience in IT Hardware Asset and Configuration Management 
  • Solid grasp of IT asset management principles, processes and best practices.
  • Experience utilizing asset management tools and software.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Expertise working with Atlassian Jira Asset Management  
  • IAITAM and ITIL Certifications (not mandatory but good to have)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical staff 
  • B.A. or B.S. in Computer Science or similar field, related work experience 

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $140,000.00/Yr. - USD $170,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
