Responsibilities

  • Review collateral packages that include accounts receivable aging, accounts payable aging inventory reports, validate ineligible collateral and available borrowing bases according to approved eligibility terms and conditions for Asset Based Lending (“ABL”) loans.
  • Prepare monthly trend cards and identify unfavorable collateral information, adverse trends, or issues impacting bank’s collateral valuation.
  • Run Experian reports for days beyond terms on borrowers and highly concentrated account debtors.
  • Review collateral exams and inventory appraisals of assigned borrowers and update borrowing bases and trend cards to reflect the findings from the exams and/or valuations from the appraisals as accepted by the Business Units and the Credit Supervisors.
  • Prepare BBC templates as well as borrowing bases for new loans and modification on existing loans prior to loan closing. Review loan agreements to ensure the sections relating to terms and conditions of borrowing bases and collateral are consistent with those approved by Credit Supervisors.
  • Perform other duties, tasks and projects as requested by the department from time to time.

Qualifications

  • Good verbal and written skills to interact and communicate with clients as well as personnel in various departments of the bank.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Programs and data mining program such as Asset Reader. Intermediate Excel skill is preferred.
  • Completed courses in Accounting, Finance, Business Administrations, or related subject.
  • Previous experience with collateral monitoring and Asset Based Lending is a plus but not required as long as the candidate is willing to learn.

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $20.00/Hr. - USD $30.00/Hr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
