Overview

East West Bank is currently seeking a Collateral Analyst, Commercial (Asset Based) Banking for their New York Office.

Responsibilities

  • Update, track and follow up with customer’s financial & collateral reports due on a daily and quarterly basis to ensure they are meeting their financial requirements as per loan agreements 
  • Investigate and follow-up with customers and internal departments on reporting exceptions and aged/outstanding issues
  • Update monthly/quarterly trend cards from borrowing base reports
  • Prepare and distribute interest/fee statements for monthly settlements
  • Investigate interest/fees discrepancies with internal departments and customers
  • Upload and manage files 
  • Assist with any Ad-hoc projects
  • Prepare the reporting status for weekly meeting of aged/outstanding financial reports to be followed up with action plan and update CASH-OnTrack with comments  
  • Upload and manage data files in the Sharefiles on a daily/monthly basis where EWB is lead agent to ensure all Participant banks have been notified accordingly
  • Back up coverage on daily advances for holiday/sick leave of other colleagues
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in finance and/or accounting, or combination of education with working knowledge of finance/accounting
  • Minimum one year experience with Asset Based Lending Collateral Monitoring and/or prior commercial lending experience
  • Each team member must have knowledge of BSA/AML/OFAC laws/regulations, understand how these obligations relate to his/her role, and comply with these laws and regulations
  • Efficient in use of commercial loan systems (M & I) & (OnTrack)
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance regarding commercial lending

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $25.00/Hr. - USD $32.00/Hr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
