Overview

We are currently seeking a BSA Analyst II. The BSA Analyst II reviews BSA reporting, monitoring high risk customers’ activities and file SARs. Primary function is to complete FIU reviews of the bank's customers that may have potentially suspicious or unusual activity.

Responsibilities

As a valuable East West Bank team member, your duties (not limited to) will include: 

  • Performing research, analysis and investigation
  • Document results of reviews and escalating any potentially suspicious activity findings to management
  • Reviews and investigates PSARs and File SARs based on the Monetary Instrument Log report
  • Reviews weekly pipeline reports, MIL SAR review and Cash Item SAR review
  • Understanding bank's products, services, customers and geographical locations in order to conduct effective research/ investigation of accounts
  • Files SARs for high risk customers if needed; Notifies the BSA Officer of suspicious activities of high risk customers
  • Performs additional duties as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • 3 years in banking, BSA compliance regulations including filing SARs
  • Ability to perform research on account activity and detect out of pattern behavior
  • Well organized, accuracy, critical thinking to prioritize workload and use sound judgement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $28.00/Yr. - USD $34.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
