Overview

Responsibilities include all phases of relationship marketing and management. This position examines, evaluates, and authorizes or recommends approval of customer applications for commercial loans by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with middle market/commercial customers
  • Manage and maintain existing customer relationships
  • Negotiates approved terms and conditions with borrowers
  • Acquires qualified referrals from existing clients and investors
  • Cross sells other Bank products and services
  • Administer existing loan portfolios
  • Extensive relationship management
  • Analyze financial statements, perform underwriting duties
  • Build successful relationships with retail banking partners
  • Identifies and analyzes potential loan markets to develop prospects for commercial loans.
  • Advises loan manager of external factors that may affect establishment lending policies, such as new or revised legislation and regulations. Recommends and implements appropriate changes to establishment policies and procedures.
  • Manages and leads team of relationship managers and support staff.
  • Other duties as need by senior management

Qualifications

  • May lead other Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers and Loan Assistants
  • Bachelor’s degree in banking, finance or other related field.
  • 15+ years of commercial lending banking experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of direct portfolio management experience
  • Strong background in Finance
  • Strong knowledge base in Treasury, FX and Derivative products
  • Demonstrated abilities in coordinating the resources of the back office to bring effective full service solutions to the company
  • Proven sales track record and strong negotiation skills.

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $70,000.00/Yr. - USD $220,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
