Overview

Responsible for analytical and process support of Investor Relations, Corporate Development, and Enterprise Forecast activities

Responsibilities

  • Support the creation of external communication materials including preparation of earnings press releases, investor presentations, scripts, and Q&A support
  • Conduct peer analysis and performance benchmarking, including coverage of industry conferences and earnings disclosures to prepare ad-hoc analysis and reports as needed
  • Support the investigation, exploration, and execution of merger and acquisition activity by providing financial and analytical support, including due diligence support and financial modeling
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the enterprise forecast and long-range financial plan
  • Prepare regular internal reporting and analysis on East West’s financial performance, forecast, relative stock price performance and valuation for the benefit of the CFO Executive Office, the executive leadership team, and the board of directors
  • Coordinate logistical support for investor relations and corporate development workflows

Qualifications

  • Strong financial, analytical, and business acumen
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving abilities
  • Inquisitive mind and intellectual curiosity
  • Willingness and ability to work evenings and weekends, as needed
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in a related or quantitative field (e.g., Finance, Economics)
  • Progress toward CFA certification a plus
  • 1-3 years of banking or corporate finance experience, preferably across FP&A, corporate strategy, equity research, or investment banking

Language Skills

Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret equity research reports, market research reports, or governmental regulations. Ability to write press releases, reports, external and internal presentations, and scripts.

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $67,000.00/Yr. - USD $80,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
