Overview

The Risk Management Analyst will be responsible for administrative and para-professional responsibilities
within the Enterprise Risk Management function. This role will report to the Deputy Chief Risk Officer.

 

This role will require an individual with strong administrative skills, an attention to detail, ability to work in
a fast paced dynamic work environment, and with an interest in doing and learning more about risk
management. This role will include para-professional duties and for the right candidate may serve as a
career path into the risk management profession.

 

This role will require working and communicating with individuals throughout the institution regarding risk
management, project management, and collaborating with business units and internal stakeholders,
including executive management and board members.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a complex calendar, scheduling meetings and events
  • Coordinate corporate meetings, departmental functions including conference room reservations
    and setup for board meetings and regulatory examinations
  • Greet and maintain contact with department visitors and regulators
  • Assist in gathering Risk Oversight Committee information from relevant stakeholders and assist
    with the committee package
  • Deliver excellent customer service and demonstrate a high degree of professionalism to external
    and internal stakeholders
  • Apply discretion in approving training and travel requests based on the department's budget
  • Analyze and approve employee reimbursement requests in accordance with Bank policies
  • Manage and pre-approve employee vacation and leave requests
  • Assist in risk management duties, coordinate risk assessment meetings, take minutes, and ensure
    timely follow up action items assigned to assigned stakeholders
  • Review and edit department reports
  • Maintain and manage the Chief Risk Officer's divisional budget
  • Serve as a risk management para-professional, as warranted
  • Maintain a professional and working relationship with colleagues
  • Anticipates needs and apply common sense and business thinking
  • Develop and prepare reports, documents, and presentations for department staff as directed
  • Make appropriate, informed decisions regarding scheduling and prioritizing demands
  • Screen calls and prioritizing emails
  • Maintain level of confidentiality in work assignments, documents, and communications
  • Process and maintain correspondence, files, records and minutes, and performs other specific
    duties for management staff
  • Coordinate detailed travel arrangements at domestic and international level
  • Maintain office supplies inventory
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • More than 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and
    experience in a corporate environment working with upper level management
  • Advanced proficiency in creating presentations in PowerPoint and other software
  • Advanced abilities in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Well organized, detail oriented and resourceful
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Interpersonal and professional manner in dealing with clients, regulators, and employees
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Self-sufficient in time management and a self-starter
  • Demonstrated skills in conflict management
  • Flexibility in work schedule and assignments

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $25.00/Hr. - USD $32.00/Hr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
