Overview

Responsible for the preparation of both internal and external reports including SEC and regulatory filings and investor relations material.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial statements, footnotes, and various schedules for quarterly 10-Q and annual 10-K filings.
  • Preparation various banking regulatory reports, including the quarterly Call and FRY Report schedules.
  • Prepare various schedules for internal reporting requirements including the monthly Board package and investor relations materials.
  • Coordinate with other members of the accounting department and other departments to obtain and review schedules for the preparation of internal and external reports.
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements for dissemination to management, directors, external auditors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Prepare and review various schedules and reports for internal users and external auditors, and assist in the audit of financial statements and related footnotes.
  • Assist with the 401K financial statement audit and 11-K preparation.
  • Review and analyze the Bank’s consolidated financial statement.
  • Design reporting templates through various query tools including PeopleSoft to facilitate both internal and external reporting needs.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses and projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years public accounting and/or  3-4 years public company financial reporting experience
  • Solid knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and concepts
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills.
  •  CPA license preferred
  • Banking/financial institution experience preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work well in a team

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; and at least 2 years public accounting and/or 3-4 years financial reporting experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skill. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write: reports, business correspondence and procedural memos.

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $85,000.00/Yr. - USD $112,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
