Overview

We are currently seeking a Senior ERM Project Manager. A qualified leader working as part of the Enterprise Risk Management team.  In this role, the Senior ERM Project Manager supports and tracks initiatives, programs and projects within ERM. The individual will report on all activities to senior management and provide support to enable executive management to meet organizational goals and objectives, ensure ERM programs and initiatives are implemented and functioning and take direct accountability for ensuring results are achieved through one’s actions or the actions of others. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple ERM and risk management programs/projects simultaneously and resolves conflicting priorities.
  • Keep stakeholders informed of messaging, recommendations, decisions, processes, and progress.
  • Define business requirements for analytics and reporting to ensure data insights inform business decision making.
  • Lead and take responsibility for the execution of assigned strategic initiatives; assess and adapt as needed to ensure quality of execution and to meet committed deadlines.
  • Drive and influence results by acting with speed, agility and adaptability.
  • Provide direction and support to enable budget approval and prioritization. Ensure appropriate structure and reporting of a project’s health and expense efficiency. Mitigate financial risk through variance analysis.
  • Ensure overall risk identification and mitigation management as well as ongoing risk assessment and adaptation; create and manage appropriate escalation strategies and implementation. Ensure compliance with applicable company policies for project management, information security, risk management, recordkeeping, etc.
  • Create and manage project plans, progress and status reporting, stakeholder/risk/issues management reporting, change control processes; ensure the documentation and rationale for assumptions made, conclusions reached, issues remediated, etc. Ensure appropriate escalation strategies and implementation of resolutions.
  • Incorporate regular review and consultation with the program sponsor, key stakeholders, business and support service groups to validate project progression, risk management, and program performance.
  • Ensure project communication incorporates all those affected internally/externally to fully understand the nature and implications of changes and decisions made. Ensure timely and effective communications; produce and organize information for presentations on approach, plan and project health, utilizing various mediums to adjust to audience as appropriate.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with appropriate colleagues across the business, communicate with and impress on stakeholders the consequence of not meeting deadlines, build rapport with stakeholders in identifying new opportunities, leverage their expertise, or understanding their challenges.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in project management methodology, techniques, and tools, with proven skills managing project issues and risks to acceptable resolution.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or related project management certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of and competency in program and project management processes, including planning tasks and allocating resources, risk management, issues management, time management, financial management, working in teams, quality management, monitoring and reporting, documentation and record keeping.
  • Expertise in MS Office, MS Visio and MS Project, and Jira.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to communicate clearly and concisely in a variety of settings and styles.
  • Gains support for change by providing context and responding with sensitivity to concerns and takes initiative to recommend/develop innovative approaches to getting things done.
  • Can quickly find common ground and solve problems for the good of all and is a team player that  encourages collaboration.
  • Significant experience in developing comprehensive performance measures and metrics by which to assess program and project performance, looking at the Bank’s objectives and strategies, cost/spend data, quality, schedule, resources, return on investment, and other measurement variables. 

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $150,000.00/Yr. - USD $225,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
